We are lucky enough to live in an area where we can be outside most days of the year. There are so many things to do in Northern Virginia that we want to make sure you can try new things as well as your tried and true favorites. This week we are highlighting a dog-friendly winery event – Breaux Vineyards Dog Days Event.
 

Breaux Vineyards Dog Days Event: Wine & Woofs in Purcellville, Virginia!

Why not celebrate the last Dog Days of Summer by sipping exquisite wine while your furry friend lounges by your side? Well, you can at Breaux Vineyards. Their ‘Dog Days’ event is dog-friendly and blends sophisticated wine tasting and playful, wagging tails.

It’s hard to describe the amazing views at Breaux, you have to see it for yourself. 
 
Nestled amidst the rolling hills and luscious vineyards Breaux Vineyards offers a serene escape from the daily Northern Virginia hustle.

Tail-Wagging Activities

The Dog Days event will be on Saturday, August 26th from 11 am – 6 pm and as you probably guessed, isn’t just about wine. 
 
This dog-friendly winery event features a variety of shelters on hand to promote dog and cat adoptions, as well as events, contests, live music, and more:
 
  • Wine & Whiskers Yoga event from 11 am – 1 pm (sign up here) that includes a free wine tasting. Proceeds benefit The Cats at Longstreet non-profit organization.

  • In addition, The Dog Wizard will be on hand to answer dog training questions from 11 am – 6 pm! 

  • Pet contests for pets and their owners include; The Longest Tail, Looks Most Like Their Owner, and Best Dog Trick.

  • Live music by Juliet Loyd and Levi Stephens

  • Pet-focused vendors

  • Amazing food

A Wine Palette for Every Taste

Breaux Vineyards boasts an impressive array of wines, ensuring every palate, from the newbie to the connoisseur, finds its match. Whether you’re in the mood for a robust red, a crisp white, or a sparkling rosé, the Dog Days event promises to elevate your wine-tasting experience.

Breaux Vineyards ensures that the Dog Days event is safe for all attendees. There are designated dog-friendly zones, and the staff is trained to ensure both humans and pets have an enjoyable experience. Just remember to keep your buddy on a leash!
