Leesburg, Virginia has just upped its game with the highly anticipated opening of Virginia Pickle. Located in the Village of Leesburg shopping center, Virginia Pickle is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to the rapidly growing sport of pickleball. This indoor haven for pickleball enthusiasts promises an unparalleled experience for players of all levels. 
 

The Rise of Pickleball

Pickleball, a tennis, badminton, and ping-pong hybrid, has been gaining popularity nationwide for its accessibility and fast-paced nature. The sport improves balance, hand-eye coordination, and flexibility. Leesburg, in tune with the sports zeitgeist, now boasts a dedicated space where pickleball lovers can unite, compete, and build a vibrant community.
 

Virginia Pickle’s Prime Location

Conveniently located in The Village at Leesburg shopping center, Virginia Pickle is easily accessible and is also close to great shopping and dining.
 

Facility Features

When it opens in January, Virginia Pickle will offer four premium indoor courts constructed with Pickleball United’s True Court surface. These courts provide consistent bounce, excellent cushioning, and best-in-segment grip. Rain or shine, players can enjoy a game in a comfortable and controlled environment. Four additional courts are scheduled to open in July 2024.
 

Lessons and Clinics

Virginia Pickle isn’t just a place for games; it’s a destination for skill development. The facility offers private and semi-private lessons for singles or groups of two or three. The facility also plans to provide clinics, opportunities for level-based play, and tournaments.
 

Membership Has Its Privileges

Virginia Pickle limits the total number of memberships to improve members’ playing experience and increase court access. As a member, players can reserve court time seven or more days in advance at the rate of $30 per member per hour for singles or $15 per member per hour for doubles. They receive free drop-in play and free court rentals for reservations made six or fewer days in advance. 
 
Members and guests can also enjoy gourmet food and beverages through Virginia Pickle’s partnership with The Dell Food and Brew Hall.
 

Become a Founding Member

The first 200 members automatically become Founding members and receive a t-shirt, a waived initiation fee, and a discounted membership rate for the first six months.
